New Production in Development for 2027
Following the hugely successful run of Bugsy Malone in 2025, the school is already looking ahead to its next biennial production in 2027.
For the first time, we are developing an original commission created specifically for our students by theatre creative and one of the schools teachers, Miss Lucie Raine. As well as teaching at the school, Lucie is a talented writer, and our creative team are currently developing Tales of the Riverbank, inspired by The Wind in the Willows.
The production will open in June 2027, with rehearsals beginning in December 2026. The limited run will be staged at Unity House, Wakefield.
The production will be written and directed by Miss Lucie, alongside Miss Adelle and Miss Stansfield, bringing together the school’s creative team to create an exciting new theatrical experience for our students.
We know the value that high-quality performance opportunities bring to young dancers, helping them develop not only their dance and theatre skills, but also confidence, creativity and personal development.
If you are interested in joining the school and being part of this exciting new production, we are always welcoming new pupils aged 4–18, across all abilities.
Our specialist theatre training includes Ballet, Tap, Theatre Craft, Contemporary Modern Jazz and Acro, with a focus on developing well-rounded, confident young performers.
